Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
Build and optimize backend components, scripts, APIs, and data-processing workflows.
Apply OOP principles and software development best practices.
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and database operations.
Work with MySQL and/or MongoDB, depending on project requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver quality solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues, improve application performance, and ensure code quality.
Support banking and financial services applications related to risk, regulatory reporting, trading, collateral, or capital markets.

Preferred candidate profile
512 years of IT experience with solid hands-on Python development.
Robust programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Positive understanding of OOP concepts and design principles.
Solid SQL and database knowledge, preferably MySQL.
MongoDB experience is preferred for the Python Developer + MongoDB position.
Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech is highly desirable.
Familiarity with application development, database optimization, and production support.
