Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and execute test strategies for backend services, APIs, event-driven workflows, and database interactions.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java, REST Assured, JUnit/TestNG, and CI/CD pipelines.
Validate Kafka-based event processing, retries, ordering, duplicate handling, replay, and idempotency scenarios.
Perform migration validation between Quest v1 and Quest v2, including reconciliation and data consistency checks.
Develop SQL-based data validation, integration, regression, performance, and resilience tests.
Investigate defects using logs, metrics, traces, databases, and event streams.
Support production deployments, release validation, and incident investigations.

Required Skills




4–7 years of Quality Engineering, SDET, or software testing experience.
Solid Java programming and test automation skills.
Hands-on experience with REST API testing, REST Assured, JUnit/TestNG, and CI/CD integration.
Robust SQL and database validation experience (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
Experience testing backend services, integrations, and distributed systems.
Good understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, Git, and Linux/Unix settings.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
