Job Description Senior Software Engineer (COBOL)

Experience

4–6 years

Key Requirements
4–6 years of experience in COBOL Technology.
Experience in Database Queries and Procedures.
Experience in Application Support on functional issues.
Explicit understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and process-oriented development.
Configuration experience in ERP products.
Strong fundamentals in Leasing will be an added advantage.
Experience in identifying and executing test strategies, test plans, and functional test cases.
Experience in preparing and conducting functional reviews and training sessions.
Ability to work with customers and cross-location teams to ensure consistent delivery.
Ability to work effectively in a team workplace.




Willingness to work primarily on Functional Support and Change Requests.
Willingness to work in day and afternoon shifts.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to challenge solutions constructively when appropriate.
Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to interact directly with end users.
