Job Description
An Accountant for a coal washery manages day-to-day financial operations, inventory accounting for raw/processed coal and rejects, and statutory compliance (GST/TDS). Key roles include maintaining site accounts, preparing MIS reports, handling inventory valuation, and managing reconciliations for coal processing activities. Core Responsibilities
• Inventory & Costing: Manage accounting for raw coal, processed coal (washed coal), rejects, and consumables. Perform cost analysis per ton.
• Financial Operations: Maintain daily accounting records, handle accounts payable/receivable, and manage site bank transactions.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations; file returns and coordinate audits.
• Reporting & MIS: Prepare monthly MIS reports, daily production reports (DPR), and bank stock statements for management.
• Logistics Support: Generate e-way bills, verify freight invoices,
and reconcile transporter accounts. Required Qualifications & Skills

Com/M.
Com or Semi-Qualified CA/ICWA.
•
Experience:
Proven experience in manufacturing, mining, or coal washery units.
• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, SAP ECC, Tally ERP, and MS Excel.
•
Skills:
