Job Summary

ABODE School is seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Cambridge English Teacher to teach Middle School and Secondary students. The ideal candidate should have a robust command of English Language and Literature, a sound understanding of the Cambridge curriculum, and the ability to develop students’ communication, critical thinking, reading, and writing skills.

The candidate should be committed to creating an engaging, inclusive, and student-centred learning workplace that encourages independent thinking, creativity, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
Develop students’ reading, writing, grammar, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments,



and assessments.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare students for Cambridge assessments and examinations, where applicable.
Collaborate with the academic team and maintain effective communication with parents.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English; B.Ed. preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in the Cambridge curriculum.
Robust command of English Language and Literature.
Knowledge of Cambridge Lower Secondary and/or IGCSE English is preferred.
