Job Description – Motor Copper Wire Winding Operator
Job Purpose: To perform winding/coiling of copper wire for motors according to the specified technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading copper wire onto the machine.
Setting up and adjusting the winding machine.
Performing the winding process as per specifications.
Checking the number of turns and wire tension.
Identifying and segregating defective coils.
Qualification: 10th / 12th pass; ITI qualification preferred.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience operating a coiling/winding machine preferred.
Required Skills:
Proper handling of copper wire.
Knowledge of the winding process.
Basic machine setup and adjustment skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Winding accuracy.
Rejection rate.
Productivity.
Machine utilization.
Working Conditions: Production shop floor setting with rotational shifts.
Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Line Leader.
Special Requirements:
Prevent damage to copper wire during handling and winding.
Maintain the correct wire tension throughout the winding process.
Follow all quality specifications and production standards.
