We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to assist with daily accounting activities, financial record maintenance, billing, and documentation. The candidate should have basic accounting knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, and payment vouchers.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Maintain purchase, sales, cash, and bank records.
Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
Assist in GST-related documentation and return preparation.
Maintain records of vendor payments and customer receipts.
Verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
Assist in preparing monthly reports and outstanding payment statements.
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
Coordinate with the purchase, sales, and store departments for accounts-related work.
Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in B.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST.
Working knowledge of Tally/Busy or other accounting software.
Good command of MS Excel and computer operations.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Valuable communication and organizational skills.
