Supervise daily furnace and melting operations as per the production plan.
Ensure correct charging of raw materials, scrap, ingots, and alloys according to specifications.
Monitor furnace temperature, holding temperature, and pouring parameters.
Ensure proper metal treatment, including degassing, fluxing, and alloy addition.
Coordinate with die-casting, quality, maintenance, and stores departments for smooth production.
Monitor metal recovery, melting losses, and furnace efficiency.
Ensure timely availability of raw materials, crucibles, fluxes, and other consumables.
Conduct first-pour verification and ensure molten metal meets quality standards.
Maintain melting records, furnace logs, temperature records, and production reports.
Identify process abnormalities and implement corrective actions.
Supervise furnace operators and helpers and ensure proper shift handover.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and report furnace breakdowns immediately.
Ensure compliance with PPE requirements, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
Implement 5S and continuous improvement initiatives in the melting area.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
