Job Requirements

The 2D/3D Design Engineer is responsible for working with the discipline engineers including mechanical, process, project engineers in the development of 2D drawings and 3D modeling for Energy projects execution stage

Work Experience

Key Resposibilities
Experience in preparing Piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID;), Process flow diagram (PFD), Block flow diagram (BFD), using AutoCAD 2D
Updation of drawings based on redlines, vendor drawings information incorporation in PIDs, PFDs etc is required.
Basic knowledge on preparation of 2D equipment layout, HFD development from equipment list
Ability to understand & incorporate Process Engineers inputs and communicate with them effectively
Ability to compare PFD, PID with Vendor document is preferred
Has positive understanding on tagging philosophy,



styles and standards.

Positive to Have Requirements
Ability to work with additional CAD tools like AVEVA P&ID;, BIM, ACC, Smart P&ID;,eBASE etc will be useful
Experience working on 3D tools like Solidworks, Plant 3D for layout development will be added advantage but not mandatory
Experience in reviewing P&IDs; , layouts for water treatment plants or Oil and gas projects from CAD perspective
Ability to participate in global design reviews, customer meetings
Ability to learn and adapt to current tools and technologies
Knowledge on Design tools, International codes and standards - ASME, DIN, EN, IS, BS, AS etc.,
