Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated EDM Machine Operator to operate and monitor Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) machines used for precision machining of dies, moulds, and metal components. The candidate should be capable of following technical drawings, maintaining machining accuracy, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor EDM machines, including Die-Sinking EDM or Wire-Cut EDM, as applicable.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
Set up workpieces, electrodes or wire, and machine parameters according to job requirements.
Perform precision machining operations as per production requirements.
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and maintain the required surface finish.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
Report machine faults, machining defects, and production issues to the supervisor.




Maintain production records and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die Making, or a related technical field preferred.
Experience operating EDM machines is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and precision measuring instruments.
Understanding of machining processes, tooling, and metalworking.
Valuable attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety procedures.

Experience

Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may apply for trainee positions. Experienced EDM Machine Operators will be preferred for independent machine operation roles.

Work Schedule

8 hours per day, according to the company's shift schedule.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
