Role Overview
The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating accurate technical drawings and plans for furniture production, ensuring designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for furniture pieces — floor plans, elevations,
sections & assembly drawings
Work closely with designers, architects & engineers to understand design concepts and specifications
Assist in specifying appropriate materials, finishes & hardware, considering cost-effectiveness and quality
Revise and update existing drawings based on engineering changes or client feedback
Ensure all drawings comply with industry and company standards
Maintain and organise CAD files and project documentation
Assist in site measurements and data collection as needed
Review drawings for accuracy and completeness prior to submission
Coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines
