About the Role

Career Bhavan enrolls students into online education programs from premium universities. We are hiring Academic Counsellors for our Sales & Admissions team. You will guide prospective students and parents, understand their academic and career goals, recommend suitable online programs, and support them through to a confirmed admission.

Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students and parents through calls and online interactions
Understand student profiles, qualifications and career goals to recommend the right programs and universities
Explain program details, fees, eligibility, duration and career outcomes clearly and accurately
Handle student and parent queries and objections with confidence and transparency
Manage assigned leads and follow up consistently throughout the admission journey
Convert qualified enquiries into admissions and achieve monthly and quarterly targets
Maintain accurate lead, follow-up and conversion records in the CRM
Guide students through the application, documentation and enrolment process
Coordinate with internal teams for a smooth admission and onboarding experience
Re-engage inactive and prospective leads through effective follow-up




Prepare and maintain required counselling and admission reports

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is compulsory
EdTech experience is mandatory/strongly preferred. Candidates with a background in customer service or telecalling will also be considered
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Robust counselling, interpersonal and persuasion skills
Ability to handle leads and meet conversion and target-based goals
Working knowledge of lead management and CRM processes
Solid follow-up and relationship-building abilities
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Willingness to work Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM

Preferred Experience
Education, EdTech, training or higher education sector
Handling high-volume student enquiries
Telecalling, inside sales or customer support
