Role Summary

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the mechanical and electrical health of all production machines, utilities, and infrastructure within the DTC factory. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, breakdown reduction, spare-parts management, machine uptime improvement, safety compliance, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

· Ensure maximum uptime of production machines including Cutting, Edge Banding, CNC, and Assembly equipment.

· Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all machines and utilities.

· Attend breakdowns, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

· Maintain critical spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement.

· Monitor compressors, generators, dust collectors, dock levelers, forklifts, stackers and factory utilities.

· Prepare maintenance reports, PM records, breakdown logs and statutory compliance documents.

· Drive maintenance cost reduction and energy-saving initiatives.

· Coordinate with production, purchase, safety and external service providers.





· Lead continuous improvement projects to improve machine reliability and performance.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and factory regulations.

Machines & Assets Covered

Homag Beam saw 180, Homag Edgeteq S-380, Homag Drillteq H-308, Dust Collectors, Compressors, Generators, Forklifts, Electric Stackers, Dock Levelers and related infrastructure.

Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
5–10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or woodworking machinery.
Experience with CNC, Edge Banding, Cutting Machines, Compressors and Utilities.
Solid troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and spare-parts management.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
