Job Description – Finishing Engineer (Interior Projects)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finishing Engineer with hands-on experience in interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising finishing activities, ensuring quality workmanship, coordinating with contractors and project teams, and completing all finishing works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor interior finishing activities at the project site.
Oversee flooring, tiling, painting, wall finishes, false ceilings, gypsum partitions, joinery, and other interior finishing works.
Ensure execution is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with architects, interior designers, civil teams, MEP engineers, and subcontractors.
Ensure proper coordination of finishing works with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP services.
Monitor daily site progress, manpower deployment, and material requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, workmanship, and dimensional accuracy.




Identify and resolve site execution issues in coordination with the project management team.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, and relevant project documentation.
Manage snagging activities and ensure timely rectification of defects.
Support final inspections, quality checks, and project handover activities.

Eligibility Criteria
Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
6–8 years of relevant finishing engineering experience.
Prior experience in interior projects is required.
Solid knowledge of interior finishing materials, construction methods, and quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior finishing drawings.
Valuable coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work at the project location in Bangalore.
