Role Description This is a full time, on-site Accounting Manager role based in Mumbai. The Accounting Manager oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring timely preparation of accurate financial statements. The role includes monitoring fixed assets, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. The Accounting Manager analyzes financial data to provide insights to management, improves internal controls, and supports budgeting and forecasting activities. This position also involves guiding junior team members, standardizing processes, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function.




Qualifications
Robust knowledge of Financial Statements and Finance, with the ability to interpret and present financial results clearly.
Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger management, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
Experience managing Fixed Assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset reconciliation.
Well-developed Analytical Skills for reviewing financial data, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CMA are an advantage.
Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and local regulatory requirements.
Proficiency with accounting software and Excel; ability to work with financial systems and reporting tools.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lead and mentor team members, collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
