Job Summary
Gentleman Mithila is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the smooth financial operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and relevant experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
Record and verify invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
Monitor daily sales and revenue records.
Coordinate with hotel departments regarding billing, payments, and financial documentation.
Prepare regular accounting reports and statements.
Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
Maintain proper documentation of accounting records.
Support statutory and tax-related accounting requirements.
Assist management with financial information and reports when required.
Ensure accounting entries and records are accurate and updated on time.
Requirements
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualifica
tion.Minimum 3+ years of experience in Accounting or a similar
role.Previous experience in the hospitality / hotel industry is prefe
rred.Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial proced
ures.Experience with accounting software and MS E
xcel.Solid attention to detail and numerical accu
racy.Good communication and coordination sk
ills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadl
