Job Summary
We are looking for a Design Engineer with hands-on experience in UG NX and Sheet Metal Design, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using UG NX.
Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies for automotive applications.
Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T;.
Perform design modifications based on engineering and customer requirements.
Develop sheet metal parts considering bending, forming, thickness, bend allowance, and manufacturability.
Review and interpret engineering drawings and design specifications.
Support design validation and resolve design-related issues.
Coordinate with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams.
Follow automotive design standards and documentation processes.
Mandatory Skills
UG NX – Mandatory
Sheet Metal Design – Mandatory
1+ years of Automotive Industry experience – Mandatory
Solid knowledge of 3D Modelling & 2D Drafting
Valuable knowledge of GD&T;
Experience in automotive component/assembly design
Understanding of sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication processes
Good understanding of engineering drawings and design standards
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or related discipline.
