Position: Packing Supervisor

Location: Umbergaon

Responsibilities
Supervise and manage day-to-day packing operations of the Blowing Unit.
Ensure finished products are packed correctly as per prescribed packing standards, customer requirements, and specifications.
Monitor packing quality, quantity, labelling, identification, and proper handling of finished goods.
Supervise the Helpers and other packing staff working in the department.
Allocate daily work and ensure effective utilization of available manpower.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams for smooth movement of finished goods.
Maintain accurate Finished Goods Stock and ensure proper recording of inward, outward, and stock movement.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and report or reconcile stock discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage, identification, segregation, and handling of finished goods.
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly packing, finished goods stock, manpower, and other MIS reports as required by Management.




Monitor the consumption and availability of packing materials and report shortages or abnormal wastage.
Ensure proper housekeeping, discipline, and safety standards within the packing area.
Identify packing, stock, or operational issues and coordinate with the concerned departments for timely corrective action.
Perform any other responsibilities related to packing and Finished Goods Management as assigned by Management.

Required Skills
Experience in PET Bottle Manufacturing, Injection Moulding, Stretch Blow
Moulding, Plastic Packaging, Caps Closures, FMCG Packaging, or Rigid Plastics Industries will be preferred.
Knowledge of quality inspection techniques, testing procedures, and quality documentation.
Valuable understanding of quality systems, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
Ability to independently manage quality activities and coordinate with productio;teams.
Positive communication and reporting skills.
