Software Tester- Key Responsibilities:-
Manual Testing & Quality Assurance
Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and retesting
Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
Participate in test planning, execution, defect triage, and release activities.
API & Performance Testing
Perform basic API testing validate request/response data using Postman / Swagger / Bruno
Create and execute basic performance/load testing scenarios using JMeter.
Test Automation (Playwright + JavaScript)
Develop and maintain automated test scripts in Playwright (JavaScript)




Execute automated test scripts and analyze execution results.
Maintain and update automation scripts based on application changes.
Knowledge of testing framework.
Collaboration & Agile Participation
Collaborate with Developers, BAs, Product Owners, and QA peers to resolve issues.
Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives.
Continuous Improvement
Continuously learn and implement better testing and automation practices.
