Job Description: Consultant Programme Management

Job Summary

We are looking for a Consultant Programme Management to support tourism destination development projects, programme coordination, project monitoring, documentation, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating projects related to Varanasi and other tourism destination development programmes.
Support implementation activities for the Scheme for Development of 50 Globally Competitive Tourism Destinations.
Collect, compile, validate, and maintain project data, documents, and stakeholder inputs.
Prepare reports, presentations, briefing notes, meeting agendas, and minutes.
Maintain project trackers, implementation schedules, action taken reports, and follow-up records.
Coordinate with States/UTs, implementing agencies, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, deliverables,



and compliance with Ministry guidelines.
Support review meetings, consultations, workshops, and field visits.
Maintain project records, official correspondence, document repositories, and knowledge resources.
Assist with research, policy analysis, benchmarking studies, and programme documentation.
Provide programme coordination and administrative support for timely execution of activities.
Undertake other related assignments as entrusted by the Ministry.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
Graduate degree in Engineering, Management, Economics, Tourism, Public Policy, or a related discipline from a recognized university/institution.
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
