Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the accounting and financial operations of our rice mill unit. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of accounting, GST compliance, inventory management, cost accounting, banking, and financial reporting, preferably in the rice milling, food processing, or manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of paddy procurement, rice production, stock movement, finished goods, by-products, and rice sales.
Monitor inventory and reconcile physical stock with book balances.
Handle GST returns, TDS compliance, e-invoicing, e-way bills, and other statutory requirements as applicable.
Prepare monthly financial statements, trial balances, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets.
Monitor production costs, milling expenses, labour costs, transportation expenses, and overall unit profitability.
Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and inter-unit transactions.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and working capital.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.




Assist management in budgeting, cost control, financial analysis, and audit preparation.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a rice mill, agro-processing, or manufacturing unit.
Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, cost accounting, and manufacturing accounts.
Valuable analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with operations, procurement, stores, and management teams.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with prior experience in rice milling operations, paddy procurement accounting, stock management, production costing, and rice industry financial controls will be given preference.

Salary

Negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and suitability.

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
