Job Description – Cashier

Store: Shubh Lagan Sarees
Job Location: Banda, Uttar Pradesh

Main Responsibilities
Billing: Make correct bills for all customer purchases using billing software.
Payment Collection: Accept cash, UPI, and card payments carefully.
Cash Handling: Keep cash secure and make sure the cash amount matches the billing records.
Daily Closing: Prepare the daily cash and payment report before leaving the store.
Customer Service: Speak politely with customers and help them during billing.
Returns & Exchanges: Handle exchange and return bills as per store rules and manager approval.
Payment Verification: Check that UPI and card payments are successful before completing billing.
Record Keeping: Maintain proper records of payments, advances,



dues, and refunds.
Coordination: Work with sales staff and the manager to ensure smooth billing.
Store Rules: Follow all billing, discount, and cash-handling rules. Report any mistakes or differences immediately.

Skills Required
Basic computer knowledge
Positive calculation skills
Honest, careful, and responsible
Polite behaviour with customers
Ability to work during busy hours
Previous billing or cashier experience preferred

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
