Hiring | Business Development Manager – Insurance Broking | Bangalore

Salasar Services Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Bangalore team.

We are looking for a high-performing insurance broking professional with robust client relationships, proven business closure capability, and hands-on experience in Employee Benefits (EB) or Property & Liability Insurance.

Required Candidate Profile

Experience: 2–3 years in Insurance Industry

Background: Insurance Broker experience is mandatory

Role: Business Development / Client Acquisition

Location: Bangalore

Client Interaction: Must have direct interaction with clients and independently drive business closures

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop recent corporate/SME client relationships





• Generate leads and convert them into new business opportunities

• Conduct client meetings, understand insurance requirements and provide appropriate solutions

• Coordinate with insurers for quotations, negotiations and placement

• Drive the complete sales cycle — lead generation → client meeting → closure → placement

• Maintain and grow existing client relationships

• Achieve defined revenue and brokerage targets

• Work closely with the internal placement and claims teams to deliver a solid client experience

Candidates with proven business placement through an insurance broker will be preferred.
