Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Injection Molding HOF role based at the Plastochem facility in Kolkata. The Injection Molding Operator is responsible for setting up and operating injection molding machines, including adjusting parameters, loading materials, and monitoring equipment during production. Daily tasks include performing start-up, shut-down, and changeover procedures, inspecting molded parts for defects, and maintaining documentation related to production output. The role also involves performing basic preventive maintenance, reporting equipment issues, and following safety and quality guidelines.



Collaboration with supervisors and quality personnel to meet production targets and resolve issues is an essential part of the position.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and Injection Molding, including setup, parameter adjustment, and protected handling of equipment.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, with the ability to inspect parts, identify defects, and follow quality standards and procedures.
Candidates should possess skills in Injections and related molding processes, ensuring accurate material usage and consistent production cycles.
Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, including routine checks, minor adjustments, and basic troubleshooting of machines.
Relevant experience in a manufacturing or plastics processing environment is preferred.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety guidelines.
Solid attention to detail, reliability in meeting shift requirements, and capability to work in a team-based production setting.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation or plastics manufacturing is an advantage.
