Role: Quality Control Chemist — Laboratory

We are looking for a detail-oriented QC Chemist to join the Quality team at our omega-3 refining facility in Nanjangud. This role suits someone with strong analytical chemistry fundamentals who enjoys precise, documented work in a certified manufacturing setting.

Location: Thandya Industrial Area, Nanjangud, Mysore, Karnataka (In office)

Experience: 1–2 years

Qualification: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or a related field

Responsibilities
Perform quality testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including GC-FID, UV-Vis and Karl Fischer titrator
Conduct laboratory tests as per approved testing procedures and specifications
Monitor and record quality parameters during production
Collect samples from production and storage areas for quality analysis
Maintain laboratory records, test reports and quality documentation
Ensure proper handling, calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments




Coordinate with the Production and QA departments to resolve quality-related issues
Support deviation investigation and CAPA implementation
Assist in internal audits and other quality-related activities

What we’re looking for
1–2 years of experience in a QA/QC laboratory — nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients or chemicals preferred
Solid fundamentals in instrumental and wet lab analysis
Familiarity with GMP, GLP, ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 documentation practice
Accuracy and discipline with records — in a certified plant, a log entry is a statement the company stands behind
