Key Roles & Responsibilities Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
Examine patients, assess their medical conditions, and provide appropriate treatment.
Monitor IPD and emergency patients and ensure timely medical intervention.
Conduct patient rounds and monitor vital signs and clinical progress.
Attend medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, and treatment documentation.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other hospital departments.
Implement doctors’ instructions and ensure proper follow-up of treatment plans.
Monitor patients before and after surgical procedures.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Communicate with patients and their relatives regarding routine care and progress.
Ensure proper handover of patients during shift changes.
