Role & responsibilities
Handling land acquisition matters, including the Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R;) Policy.
Managing civil, revenue, labour, arbitration, taxation, telecom, and electricity-related legal matters.
Handling EPF matters, Pollution Control Board matters, and Industrial Policy Resolution (IPR) matters.
Municipal licensing requirements, and other applicable statutory regulations.
Managing trademark registration and other intellectual property-related matters.
Drafting / venting and reviewing vetting legal agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
Coordinating with government departments, regulatory authorities, legal professionals, and other stakeholders.
Handling all types of statutory registrations and approvals required under single-window.

Preferred candidate profile
LL.B. from a recognized university.



Candidates with relevant postgraduate qualifications and experience in corporate legal practice will be preferred.
Solid knowledge of relevant Central and Odisha State laws, rules, regulations, and statutory procedures.
5 to 10 years of Proven experience in corporate legal affairs, statutory compliance and liaison with government authorities.
Robust knowledge of applicable civil, revenue, labour, electricity, and corporate laws.
Drafting, documentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer applications, legal drafting, documentation and compliance management.

Salary

Salary shall commensurate with experience and on proven past records + other regular advantages like EPF+ GIS + Mediclaim etc.
