Job Summary
We are looking for a procurement skilled to manage the sourcing of chemicals and packing materials, supplier coordination, commercial negotiations, and timely material availability as per plant requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Handle procurement of chemicals and packing materials.
Review PRs, Min-Max levels, and process POs within defined timelines.
Obtain and evaluate quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
Develop and monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, QC, Technical, and Accounts teams.
Monitor inventory levels and critical/short-stock materials.
Process PRs and POs in SAP and maintain procurement documentation.
Monitor GRNs, pending receipts,
and invoice-related issues.
Prepare MIS, comparative statements, and procurement reports.
Support chemical and packing material trials/projects and coordinate with suppliers.
Eligibility & Skills
B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
Experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or process industry.
Knowledge of SAP/ERP and MS Excel.
Valuable negotiation, communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
Solid follow-up and vendor management skills.
Preferred Location: Punjab
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
