Director – School of Media & Marketing Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore, invites applications from dynamic and experienced academic leaders for the position of Director in the School of Media and Marketing. Educational Qualification: Ph.
D. in Management (Marketing or allied domains), Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university.
Experience:
Minimum 12 years of teaching/industry experience in the relevant domain, with at least 5 years in academic leadership roles (such as HoD, Program Chair, or similar positions). A robust portfolio of academic research and evidence of curriculum development and academic planning is essential. Preferred Background: Candidates with significant exposure to outcome-based education (OBE), and experience in driving academic and operational excellence in higher education institutions will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the School of Media.
• Collaborate with the stakeholders on curriculum design, industry integration,
and pedagogy enhancements.
• Drive faculty development, research output, and student success initiatives.
• Foster partnerships with the industry for internships, placements, and consulting projects.
• Support institutional goals related to quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and accreditation.
• Lead mentoring programs and innovation in teaching-learning processes. Required
Skills:
• Strong academic leadership and team management capabilities.
• Expertise in Digital Media, Social Media Marketing, Tools, Ecommerce and Digital Consumer Trends.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
