System Engineer On-Premises Infrastructure

BlueBrix is a healthcare IT company. We build an EHR product and provide RCM services to US clients. We’re hiring a hands-on System Engineer to run our on-premises infrastructure and support our employees.

What you’ll do
Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
Manage virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), storage, backups and restore testing
Apply patches and security updates, and maintain endpoint protection and access controls
Troubleshoot server, network and application issues, and coordinate with vendors
Provide end-user support for hardware, software, M365/Outlook, password resets and MFA
Maintain documentation, SOPs and asset records




Provide after-hours support and planned maintenance when required

What we’re looking for
3–5 years in system administration or infrastructure support
Robust Windows Server and AD skills, with working knowledge of Linux
Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls and DNS troubleshooting
Experience with backup tools, monitoring tools and ticketing systems
Valuable communication skills and patience with non-technical users
Degree or diploma in CS/IT, or equivalent experience
Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Linux, CompTIA Server+) and ITIL exposure are a plus
