Cloud Security Engineer

Day to Day Job Duties:
Design, implement, and maintain cloud security controls across enterprise cloud

environments.
Monitor cloud infrastructure for security threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance risks.
Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
Perform security assessments, risk analyses, and remediation activities.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and consulting teams to integrate

security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.
Support incident response, security investigations, and audit activities.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or

related field.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Solid understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management

(IAM), network security,



and encryption.
Experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, and security

assessment tools.
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS,

SOC 2, etc.).
Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, CISSP, CCSP, or AWS

Security Specialty.
Experience with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep), and

container security.
Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, cloud-native security tools, and threat detection

technologies.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise cloud transformation and security

initiatives.
