Job Title : System Administrator (Linux - Ubuntu)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Linux (Ubuntu) servers and related infrastructure.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of servers.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Manage server security, firewall configurations, and data backups.
Monitor logs and proactively resolve system alerts and vulnerabilities.
Support virtualization technologies (VMware/VirtualBox/KVM).
Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for IT infrastructure needs.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator.
Robust expertise in Linux administration, especially Ubuntu.
Experience with shell scripting and automation.
Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).




Experience with web servers (Apache/Nginx) and database servers (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with backup and recovery tools.
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is an added advantage.
Knowledge of security best practices and firewall management.
Valuable troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).
Basic knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Git, CI/CD) is a plus.
Certification in Linux administration will be an added advantage.

Time management and multitasking skills.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
