Job Description - EYP Homeroom Teacher OWIS, Whitefield

Role Overview : OWIS, Whitefield is seeking a caring, reflective, and passionate EYP Homeroom Teacher to lead a class within the IB Primary Years Programme. The Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for delivering inquiry-based learning, ensuring student well-being, and fostering robust partnerships with parents.

Key Responsibilities :
Plan and deliver inquiry-driven lessons aligned with the IB EYP framework.
Develop, implement, and reflect on unit planners and assessments.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
Monitor, assess, and document student progress and provide timely feedback.
Foster the EYP Learner Profile, Approaches to Learning (ATL), and student agency.
Ensure the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.




Maintain effective and transparent communication with parents.
Collaborate with specialists and colleagues for integrated learning experiences.
Participate in school events, professional development, and IB training.
Uphold safeguarding policies and school values at all times.

Eligibility & Skills :
Teaching qualification (B.Ed./PGCE preferred).
Experience teaching in the IB EYP or an international school workplace preferred.
Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to inquiry-based, student-centered learning.

Job Types : Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
