SF Commerce Cloud Lead # of positions 1 Location Mumbai Kandivali Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and functional requirements and recommend scalable technical solutions within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem
• Co-create detailed technical design documents (TDDs) and review/approve designs for implementation
• Lead end-to-end development activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
• Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 developers, ensuring quality delivery and continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective debugging and resolution strategies
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security of SFCC implementations Required Experience
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), preferably in B2C Commerce (Demandware)
• Robust experience in eCommerce implementations, including storefront development and backend logic Technical Skills
• Strong expertise in:
• SFCC Architecture & Development
• ISML, Controllers (SFRA), Pipelines (legacy), and OCAPI/SCAPI
• JavaScript (ES5/ES6), Node.js concepts
• Frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, responsive design)
• Experience with:
• SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) customization
• Third-party integrations (payment gateways, OMS, ERP, CMS, etc.)
• REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integration
• Hands-on experience in:
• Code reviews, performance tuning, and code optimization
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes General Requirements
• Strong understanding of eCommerce business processes
• Experience in application customization, configuration, and integrations within SFCC
• Proven experience in code review and enforcing best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
