These include cost monitoring, tagging governance, anomaly detection, and optimization recommendations. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the FinOps Lead to drive cloud cost efficiency across our outstanding technology estate.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor cloud spend daily/weekly across AWS, Azure, and GCP; investigate and flag anomaliesBuild and maintain world-class cost dashboards and reports (showback/chargeback) for engineering teamsEnforce and audit resource tagging/labeling standards for detailed cost allocationIdentify rightsizing, idle-resource, and storage-tier optimization opportunities and collaborate with engineering teams to implement themSupport Reserved Instance/Savings Plan/Committed Use Discount purchase recommendations and utilization trackingMaintain FinOps tooling integrations and data pipelines feeding cost dashboardsDocument cost optimization playbooks and guidelinesAssist with monthly and quarterly cost reviews and forecast variance analysisRequired Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience10+ years of proven experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or IT financial analysisFinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP)
