Build and ship features in the District Android app across ticketing, events, dining and payments
Write clean, readable Kotlin/Java that your teammates can maintain and build on
Translate designs and product requirements into smooth, responsive UI following Material Design
Integrate REST APIs and handle data with Retrofit/OkHttp, JSON parsing and local storage (Room)
Handle real-world scale and edge cases — loading states, errors, offline behaviour, and the high-traffic moments when a big event or ticket drop goes live
Debug, profile and fix issues; keep the app rapid, stable and crash-free
Take part in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback
Work closely with product, design and backend to scope and deliver features end to end
Chip away at tech debt and push for clean architecture and best practices
Stay current with Android updates, tools and patterns, and bring good ideas back to the team
