modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems)Provide feedback to peers, BUMs and Director Engineering Services on cost and cost trendsManage creation and submission of project proposals and quotationsTECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIESGuide and oversee the deploy of processes/products to maintain the capability requiredLead the development and implementation of platform and product architectures in collaboration with technical staffAnalyze new components and development tools and provide guidance on their useJOB QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometryStrong Foundational knowledge in SMTStrong and convincing communication skillsProficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills requiredEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringMin 6 years' experience in SMT manufacturing experience10 years experience in a research and development and/or manufacturing workplace and 3 years of development laboratory experienceMaster's preferred.
