Purchase & Logistics Manager — Stahlkind Pvt. Ltd. (Palakkad, Kerala)

We’re a sheet metal fabrication company in KINFRA Park, Kanjikode, Palakkad, doing laser cutting, CNC bending, welding and powder coating for customers in robotics, telecom, medical devices and industrial engineering. We’re looking for someone to own purchase and logistics completely: buy right, buy smart, and get material here on time.

What you’ll do

- Buy raw materials, consumables, hardware and non-production items at the best rate, and keep working to bring costs down without giving up quality or lead time
- Find, develop and compare suppliers across India (Prominently in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka)
- Decide what to buy in bulk and what to buy just-in-time, based on usage, price trends and storage
- Keep inventory under control so there are no stock-outs and no dead stock
- Plan every delivery and pickup: our own vehicle, combined with another trip,

or a hired vehicle of the right size
- Lead a Purchase Executive and a Storekeeper

What we’re looking for

- 4+ years in purchase or procurement, ideally in manufacturing or fabrication
- Working knowledge of inventory: reorder levels, stock tracking, FIFO
- A sharp negotiator with positive commercial sense, who is never satisfied with “this is the rate”
- Practical logistics sense: vehicle types, load planning, freight costs
- Comfortable with Excel and software. You’ll work in our in-house digital system.
- English and Malayalam required; Hindi and Tamil preferred

What we offer

- ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, based on experience and the savings you deliver
- ESI/PF as applicable
- Full ownership of a function, with direct access to the founding team
- Timings: 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday

How to apply
Apply through Indeed and answer the screening questions. Tell us about one purchase where you got a significantly better deal than the existing rate.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Benefits:

- Cell phone reimbursement
- Internet reimbursement
