Job Summary

The Store In-Charge is responsible for the overall management of cinema theatre stores, including inventory control, material procurement coordination, stock verification, documentation, and ensuring the timely availability of materials for smooth theatre operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete store operations and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Supervise the receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of materials against approved purchase orders and requisitions.
- Maintain stock of F&B; items, popcorn and snacks materials, housekeeping supplies, maintenance spares, electrical items, stationery, and other consumables.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving and essential items.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Team, Accounts Department, Cinema Manager, and departmental supervisors.
- Verify supplier invoices, delivery challans, purchase orders, and goods receipt notes (GRNs).
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences with system records.
- Monitor expiry dates, damaged goods, wastage, and slow-moving or non-moving stock.
- Ensure proper implementation of FIFO/FEFO stock rotation wherever applicable.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and submit them to management.
- Control unauthorized material issues, stock losses, pilferage, and unnecessary purchases.
- Ensure proper storage, cleanliness, safety, and systematic arrangement of materials.




- Maintain department-wise material issue registers and ensure proper authorization for all stock movements.
- Guide and supervise store assistants, if applicable.
- Support internal audits, stock audits, and inventory cost-control activities.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/accounting software.
- Positive documentation, reporting, and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and suppliers.
- Leadership, accountability, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of purchase procedures, stock valuation, and inventory control methods.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 3–5 years of experience in stores, inventory, retail, hospitality, or cinema operations.
- Experience handling food and beverage consumables and general maintenance materials is an advantage.
- Strong focus on cost control, stock accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Working Conditions :

- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and Festival , Public holidays.
