About GoNanny

GoNanny is a technology-enabled childcare startup working to make reliable childcare more accessible to families while helping professionalise the caregiving ecosystem. By combining technology, structured verification and professional nanny services, we're building a more organised and dependable childcare experience.

As an early-stage startup, we're solving real operational challenges while building and scaling our services. We value ownership, initiative, speed with quality and a willingness to learn by doing. Joining GoNanny means contributing directly to a growing business where your work helps shape how the service operates.

About the role

A reliable childcare service depends on having the right professionals available at the right time. As a Team Lead – Supply Operations, you'll be responsible for strengthening GoNanny's supply pipeline, improving sourcing outcomes and ensuring the team consistently delivers against supply requirements.

This role combines team leadership with hands-on execution. You'll spend approximately 40% of your time managing and supporting the supply team, setting priorities, monitoring performance and coaching team members. The remaining 60% will focus on individual contribution, including sourcing, candidate evaluation, resolving pipeline bottlenecks and improving supply availability and quality.

You'll work closely with the leadership and operations teams to translate business demand into actionable sourcing priorities, build effective processes and ensure a consistent pipeline of suitable, onboarding-ready childcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

- Set daily and weekly priorities based on business demand, candidate availability and fulfilment requirements.
- Monitor individual and team performance through relevant metrics, trackers and regular reviews.
- Coach team members on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, screening quality and follow-up practices.
- Identify performance gaps, address execution challenges and provide timely feedback to improve productivity.
- Help resolve escalations,

unblock team members and maintain accountability for agreed deliverables.
- Work closely with leadership and operations teams to understand current and upcoming supply requirements.
- Develop and standardise workflows, team practices and reporting mechanisms to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Contribute to building scalable supply operations processes as GoNanny expands its service network.

2. Individual Contribution and Supply Operations (60%)

- Personally source and engage nannies and childcare professionals through referrals, local networks, job portals, direct outreach and other relevant channels.
- Manage candidate pipelines independently, from initial outreach and screening through documentation and onboarding readiness.
- Assess candidates based on experience, availability, location, communication and suitability for childcare assignments.
- Take ownership of critical or difficult-to-fill supply requirements and step in where additional sourcing support is needed.
- Analyse sourcing funnel performance, identify conversion gaps and implement improvements to reduce candidate drop-offs.
- Build and test new sourcing channels and approaches to improve candidate reach, response rates and onboarding conversion.
- Maintain accurate supply trackers and use data to identify bottlenecks, prioritise actions and improve turnaround times.
- Collaborate with operations teams to align supply availability with demand, urgency and service requirements.

Requirements

- 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in recruitment, blue-collar hiring, frontline staffing, domestic staffing, caregiver recruitment or supply operations.
- Prior experience guiding a team, coordinating team performance or mentoring junior team members.
- Strong hands-on experience managing sourcing pipelines and converting candidates into onboarding-ready supply.
- Ability to balance individual delivery with team management and performance monitoring.
- Strong communication, candidate engagement,

problem-solving and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, trackers, funnel metrics and performance reports.
- Ability to prioritise effectively, handle multiple requirements and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to take ownership of operational challenges and work directly on execution when required.

Ideal candidate

A hands-on team lead who can drive results through both personal execution and team performance. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing people while remaining closely involved in sourcing, candidate evaluation and pipeline management.
