About Ramani Cars

Ramani Cars is an established automobile dealership in Coimbatore, expanding its portfolio with a newly introduced automobile brand. We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team and deliver excellent after-sales service and customer satisfaction.

Job Summary

The Service Advisor will act as the primary point of contact between customers and the service workshop, ensuring smooth service operations, timely vehicle delivery, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and understand their vehicle service and repair requirements.
- Conduct preliminary vehicle inspections and record customer complaints accurately.
- Prepare job cards, service estimates, and repair orders.
- Explain repair requirements, maintenance schedules, labour charges, and spare parts costs.
- Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure timely and quality vehicle servicing.
- Keep customers informed about repair progress and vehicle delivery timelines.
- Obtain customer approval for additional repairs before proceeding.
- Explain completed work and charges during vehicle delivery.
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
- Achieve service revenue, customer satisfaction, and customer retention targets.
- Promote periodic maintenance and value-added services.




- Maintain accurate service records using dealership management systems.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate with the relevant teams for resolution.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership service standards.

Qualifications & Skills

- 5–8 years of experience in the automobile industry, preferably as a Service Advisor in a passenger car dealership.
- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and workshop operations.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Experience in job card preparation, service estimation, and customer follow-ups.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with dealership software.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
