Shawarman Grills is looking for an energetic, responsible, and customer-focused Service Captain to manage daily restaurant service operations. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating dine-in orders, organising takeaway orders, supervising service staff, and ensuring customers receive their food accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage dine-in, takeaway, and online delivery orders.
- Organise and prioritise orders to ensure timely preparation and service.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to monitor order status and avoid delays.
- Ensure food orders are checked for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before serving or dispatch.
- Allocate tables and coordinate seating arrangements for customers.
- Supervise service staff and assign daily duties.
- Ensure takeaway orders are properly packed and handed over to customers or delivery partners.
- Monitor pending orders and follow up with the kitchen to maintain smooth operations.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards in the dining and service areas.
- Ensure proper communication between the front-of-house team and kitchen.
- Assist with billing and payment coordination when required.
- Support the restaurant manager in daily operations and staff coordination.
Requirements
- Valuable communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple orders during busy hours.
- Good team leadership and coordination skills.
- Malayalam proficiency is required; basic English communication is an advantage.
- Previous experience in restaurant service, food service coordination, or hospitality is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A responsible attitude and commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction.
