Role Description The Assistant Professor AI (Business School) role is a full time, on-site position based at Karnavati University in Gandhinagar. The role involves delivering high-quality university teaching in artificial intelligence and related areas within business and management programs, including preparing and conducting lectures, seminars, and tutorials. The faculty member will design and update curricula that integrate AI concepts with business applications, ensuring alignment with current industry practices and academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding student projects, supervising research work, mentoring learners, and contributing to academic advising. The role also requires active engagement in research and scholarly activities,



participation in departmental meetings, collaboration on interdisciplinary initiatives, and involvement in training programs, workshops, and outreach activities that strengthen industry and academic partnerships. Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in university teaching and training, with experience delivering courses in AI, data-driven decision-making, or related business school subjects.
• Demonstrated ability in curriculum development, particularly in designing and updating AI and analytics-focused courses for management and business programs.
• Active research skills with a track record or clear potential in AI, applied economics, data science, or related domains, including publications or conference presentations.
• Knowledge of economics and its application to business, technology, and AI-driven decision-making.
• Relevant postgraduate degree (preferably Ph.
D. or equivalent) in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Management, or a closely related field.
• Ability to integrate experiential learning, industry engagement, and interdisciplinary approaches into teaching and research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to teach and mentor a diverse student body.
• Experience in academic administration, course coordination, or accreditation processes is an advantage.
• Interest in collaborating with industry partners, participating in executive education or training programs, and contributing to the university’s research ecosystem.
