We’re Hiring | Collection head – Space118 Art Foundation The Saloni Doshi Collection (SDC) is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable qualified to lead the management, documentation, preservation, and interpretation of its art collection. The ideal candidate will bring together practical collection management skills, an understanding of restoration and conservation, and strong research and communication abilities to ensure the collection is professionally maintained, documented, and accessible.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the cataloguing, documentation, and maintenance of collection records, including artwork details, provenance, condition reports, acquisition history, and related documentation.
• Maintain and regularly update the collection database and physical archives.
• Coordinate the movement, handling, storage, packing, transportation, and installation of artworks.
• Ensure appropriate storage and display conditions for the long-term preservation of the collection. Key

Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint




• Functional knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong memory and ability to manage multiple tasks
• An interest in and enthusiasm for organising events and working within the arts Experience &

Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Prior experience in arts administration, project management, galleries, cultural organisations or related fields would be an advantage ?
