• Lead a team of Plastic Technology professionals and grow the next generation of moulding leaders
• Make scientific moulding the standard on every machine and every shift
• Be the technical face of moulding to leading global automotive customers
• Solve real engineering problems across 70+ plastic materials, overmoulding, insert moulding, 3-plate and hot runner moulds
• Help build a connected, digital shop floor (ERP and IIoT machine monitoring) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✅ WHAT YOU MUST HAVE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• Minimum a diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT / DPMT) from CIPET or an equivalent institute
• 8+ years in thermoplastic injection moulding using scientific moulding methods, with at least 5 years on automotive parts
• Currently Head of Moulding or equivalent (Moulding Manager, AGM or DGM Moulding with full shop ownership)
• Hands-on scientific moulding: viscosity curve, gate-seal, pressure-drop and process-window studies, validated with DOE and Cp/Cpk
• Strong knowledge of engineering plastics: PP, ABS, PC, PC/ABS, PA6/PA66 (incl. glass-filled), POM, PBT, TPE




• Overmoulding, insert moulding, 3-plate, hot runner and valve-gate moulds
• 50–350+ tonne machines (Engel, Arburg, Toshiba, JSW, Haitian, Milacron or similar)
• Troubleshooting that separates process, material and mould root causes, and recommending mould corrections
• IATF 16949 and core tools: APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC; 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa
• Proven results in cycle-time and cost reduction, and experience with new machine commissioning
• Leading a multi-shift team of 50+ people and handling OEM / Tier 1 customers directly ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ?

WHAT YOU'LL DO
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• Own moulding KPIs: OEE, PPM, scrap, cycle time, on-time delivery and cost per part
• Set up and validate robust processes using scientific moulding
• Lead mould trials, T0/T1 approvals, APQP and PPAP for new parts
• Resolve moulding defects and drive 8D for customer complaints
• Keep moulding IATF 16949 audit-ready and lead customer and certification audits
• Lead, train and develop shift in-charges, engineers, setters and operators ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ? GOOD TO HAVE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• BE / BTech or PG in Plastics Technology
• Scientific moulding certification (e.g. RJG), IATF auditor training, Six Sigma Green Belt
• Mould flow simulation (Moldflow / Moldex3D), robots and automation
• ERP (such as Odoo) and IIoT / MES (such as Think7) experience ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ?
