Role Description The Service Engineer – Chip Conveyor Systems is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. This role involves installing, commissioning, and servicing chip conveyor and related material-handling systems at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. The Service Engineer will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform routine and preventive maintenance, carry out repairs, and provide technical support and guidance to operators and maintenance teams.



Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, preparing service reports, coordinating with internal teams for spare parts and upgrades, and supporting customers with safe and efficient use of the equipment. The role also requires clear communication with customers, adherence to safety standards, and regular travel within the region for field service activities. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for mechanical and electro-mechanical conveyor systems.
• Candidates should possess solid Field Service capabilities, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer support.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for chip conveyors, coolant filtration systems, and related equipment.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, documenting service activities, and coordinating with internal teams.
• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
• Experience in industrial machinery, material handling, or manufacturing environments, preferably conveyors or coolant systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and basic electrical schematics, and familiarity with safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to travel frequently for on-site service within the Greater Ahmedabad Area and occasionally to other regions.
