Role Description The Software Test Engineer is a full-time, remote role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of IFI’s digital platforms and supporting systems. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves designing and executing test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and validating new features and changes before release. The Software Test Engineer will collaborate with software developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify defects,



and recommend improvements. This role also includes documenting test results, maintaining test environments, and contributing to continuous enhancement of testing processes and automation capabilities to support a fast-paced production environment. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Testing, Testing, and Test Execution.
• Candidates should possess experience creating, maintaining, and reviewing Test Cases.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Software Development principles and life cycle.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and version control.
• Candidates should possess valuable analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Experience with web or mobile application testing, test automation frameworks, and performance testing is beneficial.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
