Company Description Bäcker & Charlie is an authentic German artisanal bakery and sandwich deli based in Bengaluru, India. The bakery specializes in traditional German breads, wholesome sandwiches, pastries, and specialty coffee, prepared with an emphasis on genuine flavors. Pretzels, bagels, and Berliners are made from scratch using traditional home recipes to ensure quality and authenticity. What you’ll do
• Prepare doughs, batters and fillings to our recipes and standards
• Handle daily bakery production with minimal supervision
• Work against production schedules and ensure output is ready on time
• Maintain consistency across batches and portion sizes
• Support the CDP and Head Chef during high-volume production
• Track ingredient usage, stock and expiry
• Maintain hygiene and take care of bakery equipment
• Help reduce wastage and use ingredients responsibly Who we're looking for You may already be working as a Commis 2, or you could be a solid Commis 3 ready to step up. We’re looking for someone who:




• Has hands-on bakery production experience
• Understands doughs, batters and fillings
• Can work independently once production has been assigned
• Is organised and works well against timelines
• Takes consistency and quality seriously
• Steps up when production gets busy
• Is reliable and works well as part of a team What you'll learn This is a production bakery, so you’ll get hands-on experience working with real volumes and daily production schedules. There is also a clear growth path within the bakery: Commis 2 → Commis 1 → Chef de Partie We want people who want to improve their craft and grow with the bakery.
