Role Description The Accounts Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, with an expectation of immediate joining within 15 days. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling accounting entries, managing petty cash transactions, assisting with credit control activities, and supporting finance-related documentation and reconciliations. The role involves preparing and updating ledgers, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders for payments and collections, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. The Accounts Assistant will also support month-end closing processes, basic reporting, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Qualifications




• Candidates should possess accounting skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger management, and familiarity with accounting software.
• Candidates should possess finance-related skills, such as understanding of financial records, reconciliations, and support for budgeting or reporting.
• Candidates should possess credit control skills, including monitoring receivables, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining credit-related documentation.
• Candidates should possess petty cash management skills, including recording cash expenses, maintaining vouchers, and ensuring proper cash handling.
• Candidates should possess strong communication skills for coordination with internal departments, vendors, and clients.
• Relevant qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (e.g., Bachelor’s degree or diploma) is preferred.
• Prior experience in accounts or finance, ideally in logistics or a related industry, is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, ability to work with numbers accurately, and capability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
