Role Description The Information Technology Lab Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based at INMANTEC INSTITUTIONS, Ghaziabad. The role involves daily monitoring and maintenance of computer labs, including installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software, and ensuring all systems are operational for academic activities. The IT Lab Staff will support network connectivity, manage user accounts and access, and apply basic network security practices to protect institutional data and resources. The position includes responding to technical issues raised by faculty, staff, and students, performing troubleshooting and diagnostics, and coordinating with senior IT personnel or vendors when required.



The role also requires maintaining asset and incident logs, preparing simple documentation or user guides, and providing courteous front-line customer service within the labs. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Information Technology fundamentals, including familiarity with operating systems, hardware components, and common educational software tools.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Security to support lab networks, manage basic configurations, and implement security best practices.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Troubleshooting to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in a timely and systematic manner.
• Candidates should possess effective Customer Service and communication skills to assist students, faculty, and staff professionally and clearly.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in an academic or training lab environment, or in an entry-level IT support role, is an advantage.
• Ability to work in office, manage multiple tasks, follow institutional IT policies, and collaborate with the broader IT and academic teams.
